United Kingdom 2013 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Baltic Blue

For me its nuclear as the way forward. I'm no expert but clearly the technology is there and it is safe (as Chernobly issue was man made and the Fushima was a mix of him upstairs and the location of the plant).

Personally I am concerned about fracking because I believe it to be driven by profit rather than a proven safe ability to meet a need.

I think J90s comments at the top of this thread are spot on. 405 AB exec seats Baltic and Cirrus

England 2011 Range Rover Autobiography TDV8 Santorini Black

I agree with Nuclear, I think the technology is there (with huge improvements to come) and it is the safest and most efficient power option by far.

Personally if I was in charge, I would invest in Nuclear power as the main and back up power. I would also invest in tidal (for the UK there is a lot of potential power that is 100 % reliable) and offshore wind and wave if productive.

When not in high demand I would have the power converted to liquid Hydrogen ( most cars can be converted to run on it) as well as pumping up reserves of water to hydro lakes that can be used when demand needs it.

This would sort out emissions, keep the green brigade happy and also provide as much clean power as we would ever need. Tom
