A few issues

I have a couple of issues which i need to get the stealer to fix?

1) Aircon is not working - light is on but only tepid air is coming out - i assume it needs a recharge - are main dealers competitive when re-gassing or is it better to get it done indepentatly

2) One of the parking sensor has gone (again - 3rd time!) - are these easy to source and fit at home? - probably need to try each one to find out which one is faulty but should be cheaper than the dealer if the parts are easy to get and fitting is easy enough

3) Still got the wrattle from the front exhaust box (TD6) - toying with asking Kwik Fit (etc) to have a look and tinker with.

Any suggestions? CURRENT : FFRR 2012 4.4 TDV8

If not under warrenty find a good indie for LR related issues.

Air Con - How is the centre vent temp set? Try it on 3 blue dots. If no better Kwick Censored do a re-gas and if not colder, no fee

Sensor - Try an Indie, if others wern't fitted by stealer, if they were take itr back and get them to fix it for free.

Exhaust - Try indie / local exhaust centre.

For the sensor, walk past them while its in parking mode. The one that ain't clicking is the duff one.

It's not the heat shield as vie had a prod around and if I push on the front exhaust box the rattle goes - it's as if it's hitting the under body work.

The car is not under warranty anymore so I would like to fix the sensors myself , are they easy to fit? Do you need to buy colour coded ones (mines silver) and what is the part no. ( where can I get them from?) mine is a 2005 - 55TD6 model CURRENT : FFRR 2012 4.4 TDV8

see this post ref you PDC sensor issue

http://www.fullfatrr.com/forum/topic3366.html

the sensors all come primed and require painting. LR sell a small workshop spray can set which included colour and lacquer.

They are very easy to fit. I will get some pictures tomorrow and post them on the above thread as a guide for removal of the front bumper and a description of how to remove the sensors.

Revs will change, just.

If it doesn't then could be low on gas, or as my TD6, no belt, as tensioner had siezed.

if you look at it when the engine is running the head is still then get some one to switch on the air con and it will click and start spinning.
