United Kingdom 2016 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Corris Grey
4.2 SC

Good afternoon all,
I am brand new on here as I am in the market for an L322 and figured that this seemed the best place to find out the whys and wherefore's of ownership.

I had convinced myself to buy a cheapish 4.4 vogue but stumbled across this particular car.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2006-LAND-ROVER-...3f4d3a817d

Nice colour and the interior that I am holding out for, mmm Ivory.

Fuel costs are no real concern as I only do 4000 miles a year tops. Am I being foolish in looking at a SC when I could instead spend a few thousand less and still get the Range Rover experience (having owned a few P'38s back in the day)

CheeRS

Not being foolish at all, very sensible! Looks very nice, go for it, you probably know that already as you do such low mileage!

Looks very nice mate. Better get over there (after trawling the buyers guides on the forum of course) and have a good look and drive !! The SCs are brilliant cars. MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!

+1 for the S/C. This one has the facelifted interior with the Terrain Response dial (changed in 2006), so I would def go and take a look and a test drive Thumbs Up SDV8 AB MY 2019

Nice car if you like it go for it, print the check list off the WIKI and take it with you, at 4000 a year fuel cost no probs but you will love the power. Like you I only do low miles per year and went for the 4.2 and very pleased with it. Thumbs Up The worst thing about being retired is you miss out on all the bank holidays

Looks nice and stock, with a few colour coded nice bits to like door mirror cap and door handles - can't recall if this was standard or not back then.

That looks rather good. Thumbs Up

I've just completed at 18,000 mile year in my SC, so 4,000 should be an absolute doddle.

Go for it. Thumbs Up Si. <This is my name.

Thanks all, I really am in a quandary with my next car purchase. I've had cheapo run abouts for years now, so would be nice to treat myself. Laughing

Why is this one £1000 cheaper with less miles, purely the fact it's up North?

It's not a supercharged, and actually seems a bit over priced to me.... Pete

Whilst the offer is appreciated, it wouldn't be one for me. I really must take more notice of adverts. Thanks anyway.
