Excited to see what the cooled seats will be like, I don't think I'll ever have owned a car with so many toys in!
I was thrill when I found the van and hill brake assist!.......

Ah but after your monster has swallowed up £2k of fuel, in a short period of time, as you WILL find any excuse to take it out for a run, with LPG the savings continue. I estimate that my conversion was paid for in around 10 months. I don't use the car for business, just lots of pleasure. Current:

The cooled seats are excellent, especially if you have been doing something strenuous then you get into the car. Rear seat Passengers will also love you for the heated rear seat in winter. Current:

The LPG does sound good, I'll pop and have a search of some of the threads on here about it,

They sound great!

With the 4.2 Supercharged, would they come with the heated front screen as well? I had this on a 4.2 XK and found it fantastic as an option.

It looks like a supercharged, not a 4.4 though..

Would I have to be weary at this milage?

James.

I was always under the impression that the 4.2, or indeed any of the newer Jaguar engines, don't respond well to LPG at all as they have soft valves/valve seats that will start recessing?

I personally get about 13-15 MPG out of my BMW-engined 4.4 when running on LPG, this equates to about 33-36 mpg on diesel as I have found an LPG station at 50ppl.
I've never done a run on petrol to compare as I can't afford to! Laughing NW060

That's a 4.2 SC car in Stornoway Grey with ivory interior. Looks pretty stock, it has the original SC alloys and looks clean, but as said, high miles for the money. The black one near me is a better deal. Discovery 4 HSE

I came from an old turbo diesel Land Rover and I've never driven a SC RRV, however the 3.6 tdv8 is amazingly good in terms of performance. And I get around 12lt per 100 km. ______________________________

350 miles on a full tank? That seems very optimistic in my experience. I was getting panicky at 270 miles. Whistle Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue
