Auxiliary fan removal.

Just had a quick search and cant find anything on it. It also doesn't seem to be in RAVE.

How do you remove the aux cooling fan? (the one ahead of the radiator). Mines kaput and just blows the fuse and smokes when you plug it in. I have a replacement, but cant see how to actually get the thing out.

There seems like a few possible routes, removing the slam panel seems to be the most likely. But thought i'd as before i dismantled the thing to find there was an easier way.

Thanks, i was looking under cooling system. Laughing

Not quite a 5 min job then. Wonder what a main dealer charges for supply and fit, a new fan alone is £500!
