I think to be honest it varies from insurer to insurer as some dont state the above, some do and others may treat the the roof as forming part of the windscreen or a sunroof cover etc- interesting discussion on this from the babyrr forum if you google Panoramic Roof - Insurance impact. IMPORTANT.

The post is from 2012 so it maybe different now. I just remember my friend being mortified that he wasn't covered.
