Standing Down For 4 Weeks

Hi
I am parking up my 09 TDV8 for 4 to 5 weeks due to working away commitments
Any advice on putting her in storage for this period so that things are ticketty boo on return?

You might want to think about a maintenance (automatic) battery charger, as there is no way that the battery will last that long with the alarm on. Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer... Today I are one!

How/where are you storing the car whilst your away sir? Off the road? In a garage? At a port/airport? etc etc as i would disconnect the battery if left for tha long but that might not be feasible!

and no ugly kid windows.

Would one of those solar, window mount, trickle chargers keep things about right. We went away for 3 weeks and left our D3 at the Airport without one but for the FFRR may be pushing it. Appreciate for the solar charger it depends if in a multi story or in the long stay.

You might want to over pressure the tyres to prevent flat spotting.

Just remember to let the extra air out before you drive again!
