Lazy Locking

On my 2007 pressing and holding "lock" on the key closed all the windows AND the sun roof, the converse being true when unlocking.
However on my 2009 (MY2010) the windows open and close but the sunroof isn't affected, it remains in whatever position it's in.
I've messed around trying to change things with the IIDTool to no avail - am I flogging a dead RR? So to speak Rolling with laughter Geoff

The sun roof should be activated. My old 02 did and I've just tried my 60(11MY) and it does so can't see an 09 being any different.

Incidentally - just found out you can let go of the button now and the apertures will continue to move but on my 02 you had to hold the button down until movement was complete.

Hope this helps. Thumbs Up 405 AB exec seats Baltic and Cirrus

mmm.... interesting, still can't make it do it - works fine on the switch and all the windows work except the rear drivers side that always sticks every couple of inches. Geoff

Does it auto close/open with a flick of the switch inside the car (rather than by holding the button till closed)

It may need resetting for the auto function to work. Using the button inside, fully open it holding the switch and then fully close it, again holding the switch. Once closed, let go of the switch and then press the switch and hold for a second (as if to close it again even though it is closed)

This should set the fully open/fully closed positions and may then work with the auto closure feature.

I can confirm my MY10 does auto close everything. Ash

No joy as yet but it's getting cold outside, yes the sunroof works one touch fine but although the windows open and close using the key the sunroof remains where it is - open or shut.

The rear window of the drivers side needs repeated pressing of the internal switch to open and close completely - only moves automatically for a few inches at a time before I need to dab the switch again.

Still it isn't really anything serious, just annoying Very Happy Very Happy Geoff

Do the reset procedure on the rear window as well. All the way down pressing the button, all the way up pressing the button then once closed, hold the switch as if to close it for a second or two.

I had to do it on mine once the battery was reconnected.. Ash
