followed manual procedure and cant get anymore than 9 litres out of the system , and tips on getting more out?

Blimey, I thought mine took a lot.... They don't seem to do Engine block drains any more so I suppose your going to struggle, what you are doing will be OK, just remember not to leave water in there on it's own too long...

im changing it every few days, getting the new water around both matrixes ect cant really be done ticking over on the drive , needs a good run . should get the 4 or 5 flushes done in a 10 day period , I just want all the old stuff out, peace of mind ! |

Evans waterless coolant do a "prep" fluid that supposedly de_waters and prepare your system prior to using their waterless fluid, I don't know how it would faire in a tdv8 but I had it in my v8 petrol once and it seemed to work great.
