Help Fault Coads

Right a bit of background, TV has not worked since bringing the car Oz.

Been playing around with the BT IID Tool for ages still no go

so has anyone seen these faults before and should I be concerned what does it all mean......

IPC-Instrument Pack

• U0248-87 (2F) Lost communication with remote driver utility module - Bus signal/message failure - missing a message

TMC-Traffic Message

• B1A56-18 (2F) Antenna circuit - General electrical failure - circuit current below threshold

TVM-Television

• B1A00-48 (2F) Control module - System internal failure - supervision software failure

AAM-Audio Amplifier

• B1A02-13 (2F) Speaker 2 circuit - General electrical failure - circuit open

• B1A01-13 (2F) Speaker 1 circuit - General electrical failure - circuit open

BPM-Body Processor

• 0x58 Crash-sensor continuously active

IPC-Instrument Pack

• U0248-87 (2F) Lost communication with remote driver utility module - Bus signal/message failure - missing a message

LCM-Light Control

• 0x003C Unknown

TMC-Traffic Message

• B1A56-18 (2F) Antenna circuit - General electrical failure - circuit current below threshold

• B1A00-4A (2F) Control module - System internal failure - incorrect component installed

TVM-Television

• B1A00-48 (2F) Control module - System internal failure - supervision software failure

Now I'm OK with the spanners and a hammer but a bit of a neanderthal when it comes to the smoke in the box
stuff

I'm guessing the B1A00-48 (2F) might have something to do with it but what is it and can I fix it with my hammer

Thanks

Sorry mate, couldn't resist the smoke in box remark Smile.

As for the faults, first I'd say reset all the faults and then see if any return when you check after a while.

Also have a look in the leftside rear compartment and look for wateringress or traces of old water ingress. Then check all connectors, wiggle them to see if there is something loose or the likes.

Hope this is a start Smile MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!

i agree with eugene, clear all the faults as some could be historical then see what you have next time you read the ecu's. ... - .- -.

The TMC traffic message fault - low current is permanently on my car, you can clear it but it comes straight back, doesn't seem to be causing any issues though Thumbs Up 2006 (56 Reg) 4.4 V8 Vogue In Bonatti Grey (Gorgeous!!)

My TV is fine , have you set it to AUS in the menu ? TMC doesn't exist here nor RDS for that matter so nothing to bother with ,open circuit to speaker is common to most cars along with the other faults they are just glitches in the matrix . Funnily enough my TMC worked in the UK but since setting the car for Australia my iiD says component not fitted as well . 2008 MY Supercharged

Axle when you
say the menu do you mean the one on the touch screen or one in the CCF

I keep changing the one on the touch screen and next time I look its gone back to UK

which receiver in the CCF have you got yours set to?

I'll have to check but i'm just off out , will get back to you👍
But when you select Aus on the touch screen it should stay , are you pressing the "OK" button as well ? I seem to remember there is a reason it keeps going back to the original setting . 2008 MY Supercharged
