has anyone done the egr bypass or blanking on the td6 ?? any results regarding power delivery like on the bmw 330 or 320

i blanked the egr and bought a new body so there was no restriction on air flow, power wise i dont think it realy made a difference but noise wise it did. my exhaust is straight through front to rear, after donig away with the egr its noisier around 2k, dont ask me why because i dont have a clue but it did. next port of call is a resinator to hopefully take the bark away, i did the exhaust and egr before haveing a remap which insidently made a hell of a difference to power a fuel econemy.
