Is there an easy way to get a wire from the dash into the engine bay?

on the inside,drivers side, remove the tread plate and then the plastic that houses the bonnet release ..

looking at the engine bay , at the top left is a section where the wiper mechanism is ..look down and theres a thick bunch of wiring going into the inside of the FF..
with a screwdriver make a hole in the rubber to one side of the thick bunch of wires ..this is your entry into the inside.. ... - .- -.

There is another similar route on the other side where you can drop a wire down to the main fuseboard, but you would need to remove the battery to get at it properly. .
Experience is the only genuine knowledge, but as time passes, I have forgotten more than I can remember

Cheers for your replies. I will have a nosey tomorrow. Thinking of extending my laser detector sensor pickup down to the bumper area. Although thinking of upgrading completely to a new system that involves wires thru to that area anyway.
