How do the Adaptive light work?

Probably a FAQ but how do the superb adaptive lights work?

Is one of the lights swivelling within the cluster or is the voltage being increased to an inactive lamp?

I've tried to figure it out tonight but as it's -6 the Mrs wasn't keen on coming outside to help!

Ahhhhh, now sir! "Ah hum" they are not adaptive lights but self levelling... Adaptive were not available until the 06my facelift (with the different headlamps)

But yes you are correct... 95% of the 02-06 levelling systems do NOT work! 75% of them left the factory without an ECU Shocked Shocked Shocked

Question - 2007MY (56 plate) TDV8 Vogue - Bi-Xenon lights, first L322 (of 4) I've owned that doesn't do the Clarence the Cross Eyed Lion impression on start up so assume no adaptive or self levelling in the units? Land Rover Addict

do the headlights 'turn/follow' the road when you do ...and if you have the headlight control on auto then they should dance, providing you do have them.. ... - .- -.
