have you got a Autobiography Ultimate Edition ? - I am not sure if like mine it has a few extras on out of interest my model year is 2012 - if you are retro fitting it I am sure you will have to do the whole system.

I am not sure about pre 2012 model years - other members will know the answer on this - it may be just the case the speaker has packed up on yours. The sound comes from near the dash board area but its quite loud
