I hear the semi-automatic boxes are horrible - later replaced with a much better ZF affair.

Might even look for an old MK3 Granada to restore .... Had 4 of those when i was a lot younger ... great motors ====================================

a pal of mine had the 6.0L W12 in his S8. what a machine.

Would be my choice over the Mazzer as I think it was said the early Mzzers were notorious for bits falling off (oh and the cr@p gearbox as said earlier).

The quattro porte is a great car, yours seems to have new clutch, which goes every 30/40 k miles. Great sound, great ride, interior not the quality you extpect, lovely lines and very special! I loved it all the way, would buy one again and it is just as expensive as a FFRR. Much more class and character as a merc, or audi.

Really looked into the QP, be ready for big bills, plus brake discs are oe only, only licensed to Maserati from Brembo, very, very expensive.
