Why not one of these...

And lets just go oddballs crazy...

Now bear with me on this one...

yes its a SAAB!!
BUT, most parts can be got for the running gear from Vauxhall and they are known for dirt cheap parts in the industry, its a v6, turbo AWD.. and a special model being the Turbo X so has its own alloy wheels.

Now to be honest im a little biased as im looking to possibly get one of these as a weekend/summer vehicle to use. And lets face it, with family in the car having something as 'Safe as a Saab' is always good...

Now this is the auto one above and doesn't have the nav option but there is another at a not too dissimilar price that has both... but even with the auto, its a ruddy quick car.... FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

No worries on the estates Mick, I only suggest avant versions as they always seem to do better when it comes to resale from what I've seen, I guess as the boot space also means they are decent family cars and motorway stormers Smile

Having driven an S8 years ago, must have been 2003 I think, they are stonking machines!!

How about the older rs2 twin turbo ones mick? Always hold value when well looked after with enthusiasts Smile FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's
