2002 Range Rover Vogue Td6 Epsom Green
My 2002 Td6 Epsom Green Vogue

Hi All,

Well it's now been three weeks since I bought and collected my new beast (from fellow forum member Netsonic Steve), so I thought it about time to introduce her (and myself) and she starts her new journey in her new home with me.

I'm a Land Rover man through and through. I've been running a Td5 Discovery 2 for the last two years - a labour of love - and decided at the start of 2015 to venture in to Range Rover world. So here she is.

Steve has clearly taken incredible care of the Rangey and it's an absolute gem. I'm looking forward to continuing the love! Since collecting her from Brighton, I've driven her back to Scotland and made a couple of changes.

I've collected a set of 20" seven-spoke alloys, added a topical number plate and made a couple of more minor tweaks here and there (dummy shark fin for the mode modern appearance, phone holder etc). Here are some photos.

And for those non-Rangey Land Rover fans, here's the little cousin that she'll be joining! I'm sure I'm going to have a lot of fun keeping these two in order...

I look forward to sharing my adventure and getting involved on the forum.

Nice - look for the thread I started called Perfect Pair - that image and your "perfect pair" would fit in really well Thumbs Up

Thumbs Up to both. I've always liked the TD5 Disco's. Travelling around in circles again.

Little add-on tonight... Fitted a RANGE ROVER silver dash badge. Just had to order a replacement one for the newer models and saw off/sand down where the screw pins were. Dabbed on a little glue at each side to strengthen the adhesion. Think it looks neat.

That looks lovely - I don't normally like green cars but that looks great - I love the wheels and want a set for mine, a credit to you and the former owner.

Glad it has stopped raining/snowing long enough for you to take the pics Smile

Looks nice mate.

Just be aware that the 20" wheels may give you a bit more vibration when at rest in D at traffic lights. It got on my nerves and changed back to 19s..

Just something to be aware of. Ash

....and even 19 inch wheels were not offered from factory on the td6 because of this issue......18's only available from new.

I went to 19's due to the better look, but then don't sit in drive when stationary. 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8

David,

Looks really nice - I like it! Will need to have a look at it properly sometime.

Re Glentarkie - not sure about taking the RR up yet. It can be quite tough on the car. Maybe once I get proper tyres on it...

Not sure if I'm keeping the D2 yet - if not that'll still be my off roader, if I do I'll maybe need to use the RR off road but only gently. Think the SLROC Green Road Runs may be a good way to ease it in...
