Today's Progress...

Fitted the Mk4 Nav today and installed the latest firmware and put in the new BMW 2015 High Map DVD Thumbs Up

Very impressed with the birds eye navigation and responsiveness. Speed camera warnings are cool too.

Also made up a new full screen splash which I'm very pleased with...

BlackVue

Wired in my BlackVue camera this weekend. I used to have it in the Discovery, but I have since decided to offer the D2 for sale so shifted the camera in to the Range Rover.

After a lot of trial and error positioning (using the live stream to my smartphone to see the view from the camera), I settled with just below the rear view mirror for the clearest uninterrupted panoramic view.

I then ran the wire along the headlining, down the passenger side A pillar, around the passenger footwell trim, along the centre console and up into the arm rest cubby box cigarette lighter. No cables are on display anywhere, so I'm very happy with the install, and I can easily unplug it if required Thumbs Up

Almost invisible from the drivers' perspective:

Tucked up behind the rear view mirror:

Cable trailed into the centre cubby box (it appears to be permanently live, but unfortunately the "Parking Mode" isn't working very and it's currently recording everything 24/7!!).

With the cubby lid closed, there is no evidence of any cabling anywhere Smile

Next on the list is:

1. Hybrid Digital TV - need to research this and work out what's best.
2. I really want to wire up a reversing camera to display on the sat nav screen when I engage reverse
3. Parrot Bluetooth system for calls/music 2002 Range Rover Td6 Vogue
