Can anyone tell me the approximate cost for a service?
it would be a 12 month service with 88k miles.
V8 3.6td
wondering what a franchise would be and what an independent would be.
I have just had new discs and pads alround so hopefully just fluids and filters.

MD can do what's called a "value service" but it misses out lots of what a regular service would include so I would go down the Indy route and get everything done at the same price as half a sevice at the MD!  Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue

I was just wondering what to expect as it has full land rover service history and was not sure if getting an indy stamp in the book would take anything away from selling on time but as its 7/8 years old, would it really matter.
