the beauty of the FF is that you can fit steps, flaps or a full body kit and if properly done it can look ok..
it would be very boring if all FF's looked the same .... ... - .- -.

Most on here like giving loads of money to stealers or use them a lot because there snobs or money to burn their choice same as people adding different looks to be individual as they like the style, there will always be stick in the Muds who like one style and others that like an individual look it's not as if anyone's asking to buy them a car Wink

Yup its a free world. Choice and opinion is are great things. Thumbs Up

My point all along has been why Land Rover, thousands of owners & I like the factory design of the rear end, I have no problem with any individual modding their rear end for pleasure - as stated previously Wink

Its takes all sorts to make our wonderful world:

Or if everyone fitted the same body kits for that "individual" look. Very Happy

It's a known fact that anyone who has an industrial unit making fibre glass and a crayon can produce stunning pieces of vehicle design to enhance any bland factory offerings. Mr. Green

gary, i did say ''if properly done'' so replying to my post with those obstrositys and saying ''nothing wrong with modding'' is irrelevant to my post.....

i could reply with a pic of craigs FF with bodykit to show you what a properly modded FF could look like, but i wont Rolling Eyes ..... ... - .- -.

I'm with Sako and would only use an underbody kit to "enhance" the looks, if I needed it (when going overland or bush).

I like the rear "angling up" look a lot and the only thing I would consider there is a flat black underbody plate that helps keeping debris (stones etc.) out that could do damage there while driving fast on the rough (like Aussie dirt roads, African trails, NZ gravel tracks (the Forgotten World Highway for example) etc.). MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!

The kicked up back harks back to the original RR and gives it a much better departure angle than competitors, the placement of the front wheels, as an aside, also maximises the approach angle for such a large front bumper. Everything was taken into account on the original 2002 release, various facelifts have departed from the offroad ability of the vehicle. The 2006+ front end saw the end of the removable front bumper skirt and the useful toolkit.

Having been luckily enough to have been at the 'launch' event at Gaydon when they brought in the last P38 (amusingly called Discovery for a while before becoming Pegasus) and the first L322 much was made of the ability to work both on and off road. I guess no-one really wants that any more Sad Land Rover Addict

We had a Brooklands Body kit fitted to our 3rd Range Rover, basically because the paintwork was getting a bit tired and it had a big ding in the bonnet, so we had the bodywork done and the kit added. I think it was just the front and rear bumpers that were fitted, so nothing too over the top, but I always thought it looked good.

Loved watching that video, DMRR!! Thumbs Up

This one, using YVB 40 years later along the same route with a new (at the time) L322 shows just how beautiful an original looking RR is.
