So I recently bought a new RR (new to me anyway) and sent off the necessary docs to DVLA for them to process the plate change.

I would put the plates on. Print out the on line information and keep it with you until the docs arrive in case of any, unlikely, queries. John

Well if its on the dvla website as registered to your car i don't see why not , anyhow if you get a dig do you not get 7 days to produce the doc's so by that time your paperwork will be through ... i think anyhow ====================================
