As good a Michelin is I'd never recommend running a rolling radius outside of OEM specs

Very happy with my Michelin, though they were Diamaris, when I had them on my previous L322, maybe because they are in fact a bit narrow for 255s, so are less noisy than other 255/50s

+1 for the latitude diamaris in 255/50 r20 109. Very good wear and quite quiet. 275/45 is the wrong size for the ff. Stick with the original spec and you will be ok.

25kg a corner load might sway it for an insurance get out-if you were 5 up with 20stone adults on board, but meanwhile back in the real world i am pretty sure load wise ffrr and rrs wheels should be swappable-or am i wrong? |

Best to keep load rating of your wheels spot on. |

I agree with recommended for factory tyre size for safety reason alone plus possible insurance hassle. However some tyres are not available in 255/50 R 20 so as Stan says if your going off piste (Cooper etc) try to get the rolling radius as close as possible to factory and never more than about 3% out. |
