Had hoped that I could give you all some feedback on this experiment, but I can only give you my bad feelings about TNT Express Sad Big Cry
TNT promised to deliver today, but all looked very good on the tracking website as the ATF arrived at Bolzano yesterday morning and left their premises right away to be delivered. Looked that they where going to exceed expectations but.... Nothing was being delivered yesterday Big Cry The courier was too stupid to find the address and too lazy to ask for, although I gave them the same address as is on the website of the apartment where I stay. I might think that if I can find my way there at least a professional courier could do the same Question So this morning I contacted them right away and all they could come up with it that they should contact the apartment owner. At 5 pm they told the owner that they couldn't make it anymore today and that it's going to be Monday Sad Sad Big Cry .....TNT I'm really Censored First I pay them a lot of money, then they send an incapable courier and next they are too Censored to make up their fault. I did file a complaint just a few hours ago.
Now hoping for a straight delivery on Monday and than I can fill up and hope I can drive rearwards again. If not I'm afraid that I'll have to get the FF home on a trailer and myself with a rental car Big Cry

Looking at the title of my post.... Censored No, I didn't drive it home Big Cry Big Cry Big Cry

At last on Monday night the right oil arrived. Filled it up with that ingenius device (highly recommended as a cheap and handy device for filling up transmission!). Unfortunately after filling up some 0,5 litre no improvement whatsoever Big Cry
The oil which was coming out was allready blackish (completely flushed some 6.000 km ago) and there was also some metallic debris in it. So really bad sign, and decided to call in my assurance for help. Drove home today in a rental car. RR left in Italy and is being transported home (probably will take some10-14 days Evil or Very Mad )

Now for something completely different... Has anyone experience with the heavy duty TC from Austra Torque engineering (Australia) http://www.roadblaster.com.au/pages/RANGE%...L40-E.html

@Cam-tech-craig; thanks for your support Thumbs Up

@DavidP: you sure could have beaten TNT by far! I stayed in Alta Badia (some 15 km before Colfosco). Hope you have a nice skiing out there: fresh snow on Saturday, beautiful weather afterwards Thumbs Up

Anyone knows about anybody having experience with this heavy duty TC? http://www.roadblaster.com.au/pages/RANGE%...L40-E.html Bow down

Sorry to read about your woes. Sad

No experience with the HD TC, but that's not the only reason the transmissions fail. You can also get a different valve body.

You can also upgrade to the ZF 6 speeder, but this does involve changing the rest of the car. Laughing

I would be wary of buying something so far from home as it means that you really have no warrentee.

new valve body incl Sonnax upgrade is also on my list. I assume when TC and valve body are replaced and (if needed) the gearbox is checked and where needed repaired I might have a very reliable drivetrain Question

Yes indeed about buying so far away is a risk regarding guarantee issues. That's why I'm so interested in real life experiences from FFRR members. Is there anybody out there? Please contact me Bow down Bow down
