headlight washer on 08MY tdv8

Ive noticed the driver side headlight washer nozzle has dropped into the bumper. Any tips on how this is supposed to be fitted/fixed?

thanks.

I've done some research on this.

The jets are suppose to sit on top of the bumper and held in place by a steel clip inside the bumper at the top. I will try to access by removing the grill, otherwise it's bumper off.

It would help if you filed in your car profile sir as there are three different jets in the 322 through the ages Thumbs Up

They fit onto a plastic square that is welded to the underside of the bumper... I rather suspect the plastic welds have broken due to an impact from the top...

They should not be able to fall through as they are fitted from the top, and if the clip had fell off, they would be trying to escape out the top... Thumbs Up

I suspect you will need to remove the front bumper and bond it back in place with some kind of PU glue...

Quick tip... Check the other side whilst you have it out! Maybe a bad welding job in factory? Maybe worth checking all the parking sensor brackets too (as they are the same) Thumbs Up

Thanks Cam.

I will have to put some time aside to fix it.

I think the plastic on the under side is still in place. It felt like it is and I couldn't manouvre the jet back up through the hole.

The passenger side was ok until I tried to lever the jet cover off. It also fell into the bumper because of my efforts.
