There is at least 4 rubber seals on each door sir |

It's the one on the body that goes around the door frame. I think they tend to wear as they get trodden on. |

Still slightly confused my friend... As you should not be able to tread on it as you have Aluminium tread plates sir |

Done! Not as bad as I was expecting. The replacement seal was about 5cm oversize so I had to cut it down. I was worried by this, but I double checked it was fitted fully into the corners all around first. I used a block of wood covered in some rag and tapped it into the awkward spots. Only needed to pull the trim aside apart from the treadplate. The hardest part was getting the treadplate back into position as the clips had moved.

You shouldn't have to cut the new seal, are you sure you fitted it tightly into the corners? |
