I painted mine when I fitted a tow bar. Found some brush on heat resistant satin black barbecue paint in the back of my garage. No prep and took abot 5 minutes. Looks much more betterer! |

Miggit...i'd also recommend removing the lower front bumper winglets (2010+), the lower bumper splitter and the long silver trim under the full length of the fixed side steps (if fitted) as they are also prone to damage when off road.....don't ask how I know about the £65 silver trim

Buying a car compromised by an ability and never using that ability seems rather perverse. |

I was merely commenting on the fact that a FFRR is an offroad vehicle, and that is what it was originally designed to do. The fact that it is very good at going down the road is a testament to the excellent work that Land Rover have done to improve it's all round capabilities, whilest maintaining it's offroad abilities. Now Craigs car has had a body kit, and as he states why go offraoding in a 50k car, I agree, I dare say that if that was the only car available to him, and he had to go offroad, he wouldn't have lowered the body lines.

Paul, to much emphasis on ''a FFRR is an offroad vehicle, and that is what it was originally designed to do.''

Craig, isn't it a kind of cruel to bring your mum to a garden party, when it rains cats and dogs and you need a FFRR to drag her out again? You are weird you Brits.....

Stan, I beg to differ on that point, I think that you will find that the Range Rover was designed as a luxury off road vehicle, and was aimed at land owners that wanted a better driving experience than a Land Rover could offer, which wasn't hard to beat Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer... Today I are one!
