Actually, looking at my figures, I think I'll leave things as they are.

Taking an average ...

Front - Standard - 477 (manufacturer = 493)
Rear - Standard - 467 (manufacturer = 483)

Front - Access - 439.5 (manufacturer = 453)
Rear - Access - 437.5 (manufacturer = 443)

Front - Off-Road - 537.5 (manufacturer = 553)
Rear - Off-Road - 522.5 (manufacturer = 533)

I'm sure I didn't get exactly the middle of the wheel but the vehicle looks OK.

As Welshdragon mentioned "if normal ride height is -10mm than standard, off road and access height will be -10 aswell."

Does anyone actually have heights in line with these manufacturer standard ride heights?

I wouldn't worry about those heights, it's close enough, they look a bit better sitting lower as well, if you don't do any serious off roading then it won't make any difference...

Well worth getting an IID tool or similar as the first time you get a fault with the FF (and you will!!!) it will cost over £100 at the dealers just to clear the code.

The convenience and ability to do code clearing and all the other things it can do is well worth the price... Pete

I actually took some measurements at standard height but measuring from the bottom of the rim to the top of the wheel arch;

FRONT

Right = 749
Left = 748

Not the expected 767

REAR

Right = 749
Left = 744

Not the expected 757

I am wondering ... the previous owner had the standard 19" wheels replaced with 20" wheels. Silly question, but would the suspension need re-calibrating for that?

Lastly, if it's worth me purchasing an IID tool or similar, can you or any of the other experienced owners on this forum recommend a good one for me?

my height specs are pretty close and tbh as long as the front is 1cm higher than the back then it will be ok...dont ask why the front is higher as nobody seems to know ..


@mr wilson , your heights wont need re-calibrating if you switch from 19 to 20 inch wheels.. ... - .- -.

I wonder if the EAS computer is clever enough to tell you if the heights are off or whether it only tells you of major problems, for example, compressor failure etc.

I'll look into some IID tools.

The EAS computer is only clever enough to swear at you and tell you it's gone Pete Tong, self diagnostics and error correction is what the stealers were designed to do
Your height difference is down to the height sensors getting bashed about, and getting old. If it goes up and down, and doesn't look like a dragster and it's not dragging it's bum, leave it alone! Once you start to fix little annoyances it will bite you in the butt and cost you big time IF IT AIN'T BROKE, DON'T FIX IT  Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer... Today I are one!
