In the case of the Classic and P38 there was no Semi-Skimmed version, hence the FFRR term had not even been considered.

Once The RRS came along there were suddenly 2 versions to consider and a differentiator was needed. Cue Adam and his FFRR term.

Since we now have 3 vehicles wearing the RR badge (2 of them incorrectly IMHO ) I put forward the postulate that the L405 is very much the FF or 'Proper' Range Rover and is thus completely at home in this forum. Thumbs Up

Not really. It's an all new car based on the same platform as the RR Sport... Whistle

And correct me if I'm wrong but they both share the same floorpan as the Jaguar XJ which is why we have the welcome return of the LWB (LSE) Version.

Well this forum is infested, yes infested is what I said, by people who don't run a FF, even worse talk about Jags, Mercs and Porsches - Censored off to relevant forums I say.

With regard to the L405 its definitely a FFRR but generally they are still under warranty with rich Censoreds(or borrowed up to the hilt Censoreds ) telling us how great they are. However they are still FFRR and I will have one in due course when they are about 5 years old and if I'm spared will still be abusing or otherwise the Censoreds on this forum.

I am not nor never will be a rich Censored Shocked Geoff

Stan, you have responsibility and some moderating influence, I have neither since retirement and am enjoying every minute I am not happy that I have been cheated out of my bus pass for a few years - do those dolts in Whitehall not appreciate how much it costs to run a FFRR especially when you can't fiddle your expenses, not that I ever could to the extent they did/do - I had to pay for my own duck house Wink Geoff

Preparing to get shot down in flames Cool

Personally I think the term Full Fat is a derogatory term and totally unsuitable for a Range Rover - it implies fat, podgy, obese and ponderous - certainly not what a Range Rover is, has or ever been!

The name certainly doesn't go with the product or the image.

Perhaps the term Fully Fledged Range Rover would be more appropriate - I personally don't like the term Full Fat - it's horrible - it reminds me of fat overweight ugly unkempt girls Laughing

Terribly sorry just my opinion and absolutely no offence intended Embarassed 2021 L405 Vogue SE 4.4 V8 DIESEL ~ #17
