Have a google for webasto thermotop axilliary heater.

Here are a few exploded diagrams for it out there. Rave doesnt cover it too well as LR will opt to reace the whole unit rather than fix it so only removal from the car is covered.

There are a few pumps out there on ebay etc, from memory when i was looking at mine it is a relatively easy job to remove from the fbh. Few screws and a couple of hoses. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Hi
Thx for this.
I got the pumpe from a local dealer, not wery expensive, and its hold tight by a rubber band like ring thats only attach with one screw.

Anyway the gd hoses i cant get off. Is is a type off quick shift system, or do i have to remove a splint. Il post a youtube guide on this when I get i right

Thx -03V td6

Does that help. Aparently you need a pair of mole grips (locking pliers) to remove the clip as pliers will slip off..... There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Hi
Nice article, but unfortunatly it does not answer my questions.
Take a look at this pictures for the hose connection.

I could naturally just cut the hoses, but i sup there a way around that. Smile

If you take a look at the last picture, it looks like theres a flat pin that could be pulled out. Theres not much to pull with but my guess is that thats what has to be done. -03V td6

If you mean the U shaped piece of galvanized wire, then I can say with 99% certainty, yes. If you pull it out in the bend it slides out. Be careful not to drop it, they sometimes come out.

Once you removed this locking feature, the hose comes off after some jiggling. The same water hose connectors are used on the engine and transmission water coolers, that is why i know Smile MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!

Yea that is a locking clip.

As ebajema said its a u shaped piece of wire which locks into a groove in the pipe. Should slide out to the left sa per the pic with a screwdriver me thinks. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Thx, that did it. It came off easily, Assembling is just as easy.

Now, how do I refill the system with coolant? or is it a part off the main cooling system? -03V td6

Hi
Looks like the fba sircut and the engine coolant circut is connected, so topping up the engine coolant should do the trick.
If anyone dissagrees i appreciate a comment. -03V td6

Its is part of the main coolant circuit so you need to look how to fill and bleed that. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
