You need to buy a Sport, not a tuning box. |

I wanted the FFRR, the Sport wasn't the one I liked and I like the L405 a lot, I just wanted to know if a slightly flatter ride would be experienced or if its just spoilt? |

Where are you plugging thee boxes into? Are they dedicated Engine tune boxes or the cheaper alternative that just tells the sensor its colder outside then it really is? What price are these boxes sir? |

The Blue Spark box I referred to connects into the fuel rail pressure sensor and is specifically programmed for the vehicle - it is not a cheapy Ebay generic box and costs approx £200 for the Pro model I fitted - see their link below

I spoke to them about the Pro + which also controls boost, its a bit more but sounds more like a traditional remap type tune as opposed to just altering fuel sensor readings.

Seems a backward approach given that none of these issues should be present if the tuning "box" worked as it should.

I hate to break it to you, but that is essentially a cheap tuning box, being sold for lots of money, and made to look expensive

SDV8 torque is 740Nm now - no idea if the gearbox is uprated, or if they've decided it's within tolerances. Fully agree about tuning boxes. |

I expect the gearbox is protected by limiting torque in lower gears and during shifts by the EMS. Some mighty colossal increases being promised and the gearbox will have a hard time.
