Indeed they are. They're cheaper in the UK. Sad

Still, I could always do bulk import.

Just got back from shopping over the line in Washington. Very pleasantly shocked at the fuel prices.

^^ Okay, Kurt:
I put in the mid-price petrol. The AJV8 4.4 is the only one without a "premium fuel required" and it runs beautifully on the mid-range juice.

The mid-range was listed as 2.599 US$/US gallon. (The others were 10¢ a gallon more and less.)

So, with the calculator, that's $3.121 for a proper (Imperial) gallon, or £2.04/gallon at today's rates, or 44.9p a litre.

Wow, that's a lot of maths. On the easier side, I had about a quarter tank left and got it filled for $40USD. That's noticeably less than usual. Very Happy

Im sure someone who is currently in the UAE or such like will be nice and post up their prices...

I remember a good few years back filling up in borneo... SO many ringits i think it was and i worked out it cost me £2 something to fill the tank in some old kia rental turd! Young and with 4 of us beaten the cars engine to a pulp we got through a whole tank in the day going to see monkeys and then a tank the next day! Local equivalent is £0.59/L.

Yes, I've heard of the Middle East prices. Thumbs Up Thumbs Up Venezuela and Bolivia are also very good, but not THAT good.

And as per the above comments, yes, I doubt it will last very long, so we may as well enjoy it while we can.
