Starter motor on FF finally gave up on Thursday, I'd already ordered a second hand one, it turned up and had a damaged bearing on the end behind the drive pinion, the race shield had come out and the bearing was useless, it will also let water in like this...

Are you serious??? Of course they do! And they do more than that too. You know those electric elements which masquerade as seat heaters? Yeah well I'll tell you they are actually field effect scanners designed to scan the cards in your wallet, check your bank balance and then report back to the main ECU so it can induce a fault which costs roughly the same to fix as the amount of spare cash you have that month ! |
