Has anyone tried using a lower heat pad say off a jag or rover under the leather cover then wiring it into the plug as its a two pin the same? Something like this pad

Just fitted a set of these to my daughters Smart Roadster, they are very quick and hot and you can cut them to fit, you get four pads, two would do a full seat base, the only problem I can see is that the temp probe is in the original seat base pad, it may work without it.....
