The best car in the world

Just got back from nearly 4 months abroad. My 2002 TD6 HSE has sat on my drive all this time (unused). Put an ordinary 4amp charger onto the (original) battery last night and started her up for first time today. Fired straight away, everything works, no warning lights and EAS etc all fully functional. To say I am mightily impressed is an understatement. This is my first RR and I can't wait to trade up to a TDV8. On the other hand I am blessed as my one seems to be fault free. May have to hold on to her! I never want any other type of vehicle again.

Sorry, just had to let my joy out somewhere! Good to be back chaps. Love all the sharp banter I have been missing (yes you know who you are dan!). Keep it up! Very Happy Wink Thumbs Up

Hey fella,

Good to have you back! Pop over next time you're in the area!

Had the EAS dropped at all whilst you've been away indicating any slow leaks in the bags?

Are you still looking for a roof box?

paging discocuzzy!

Hi dan, couldn't really tell if it had dropped or not - couldn't remember if I had left it on access level or not. The EAS button light and Air Susp warning came on then went off. Tested all the levels and they all worked fine. Yep, still looking for a box but needs to be a long one so I can get 2.10 length skis in.

BTW, Discocuzzy, can you answer my PMs ref roof rails please? Still not heard form you. Either way, yes or no would be great. Thx mate.

I have a Thule Evolution 500, it should be long enough:

315 litres, 226cm x 55cm x 37cm

You can fit in a Ski Carier too apparently.

There is a roof rail kit here:

Mine was sat at Birmingham Airport for 16 days and it started up no problems this morning! Well Impressed! Even the back tyre, which has a very slow puncture, stayed up so I was able to drive home without having to stop off at a garage to blow it up.
