Sounds like it's not recognising its in park, maybe the gearbox selector cable cable has gotten a bit lazy, and needs a good shot of lube. Have a search there are threads on how to, nice and easy. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Could be, or possibly, the inhibitor switch that makes it possible to only start in park or neutral... Pete

Hi guys thanks for the replys sprayed gear linkage with wd40 and then greased it seems to have done the trick. A cheap and easy fix for once happy days |
