Nah - it's only hay Ciirca 250kg per bale so only a couple of tonne load.

I know what you mean - how these peeps manage that you see towing one of these wee Halfords type trailers behind the FFRR down the motorway? They can't see it, they can't feel it & by christ they can't reverse it |

The smaller they are, the harder to reverse they are... I have owned a tri axle & twin axle 16ft ifor and our 7foot trailer at home is by far the hardest to reverse! |

Mind you, the tri-axle is always ready to catch you out. If you reverse over a lump / bump / crest the turn rate varies massively depending on whether the weight is on the front or rear axle. Twins are nowhere near as bad but are still affected. |

Yes my new one is a twin axle replacing my tri axle... I also got sick to death of the punctures in the 10" tyres... Don't know if its just luck (or lack of it) but the bigger wheel'd twin axle ifor's don't seem to have so many punctures... |

I managed to reverse my old small trailer Craig. You don't know how to reverse properly? I almost never had to un-hitch it and push. ....honest. Admin note: this post has had its images recovered from a money grabbing photo hosting site and reinstated |

I suspect it's similar to motorcycles. With the short distance between the axles one tyre will pick up a nail and the next wheel will run onto it before it has chance to drop back to the ground. |
