England 2005 Range Rover Vogue Td6 Bonatti Grey

I've noticed these last few days as the temperature has dropped, my ffrr is quite sluggish to start off with. To the end of our lane about 0.75 mile then onto duel carriage way, takes a while to get up to speed but after a few miles it's fine. I suppose with all the electric gizmos fbh and five lots of oil to warm up we can't expect much else. On another note my td5 disco was exactly the same so hey ho could just be a diesel thing Very Happy

From the pictures, it looks correct. This is the inline pump located in front of the passenger side rear wheel and under a little plastic cover.

I'm not convinced this is your problem though. Can I clarify you have had an OBD2 code reader hooked up and it reports no faults? If you are just relying on the cars own messaging centre, it is unlikely to show up such errors. I have heard (3rd hand) of the TD6 injector loom causing similar symptoms via slack connectors/split insulation. Might be worth checking out?

Good luck on finding a solution Thumbs Up Should've been old enough to know better...doh!

Just an update of my experience recently. I've had the message come up as +3 degrees, but have found no loss in power, so sorry I can't help, hope you get it sorted and please post your findings.
all the best .

Thank you.

No, the car has not been connected to an OBD2 code reader, at least not since last September.
I tend to agree with you about the pump not being the most likely cause. I'm not particularly mechanically minded but I find it strange that if it was the pump why would it be temperature related? The car starts and revs with no issues, after around 90 seconds to 2 minutes it refuses to rev. I then have to sit on tickover for around 15 minutes until the car is up to temperature, then I can drive away normally.

I'll check out the connections over the coming weekend, thank you for the suggestion.  Not Representative!
