Its a safety feature, locks the headrest at whatever your preferred angle is Conner... Means they won't move and cause/contribute to whiplash in an accident situation |

A bit off topic, but Otto Mathé was the name of a very old man and first owner of one of the first Porsche ever built (in a shed in Gmünd, Austria). He always refused to sell the car and kept it all his life.
