United Kingdom 2002 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 V8 Adriatic Blue

I bypassed the lpg system today and am now having even more issues bleeding it up!!!!

Have previously had it pressure tested, i did it again today while i had all the pollen filter out and no signs of leakage from the water manifold area.

Ahhh wish i never bought it. Smutt, i think you might be right there is a tidy one near me for sale thats a td6 for 7k think that would be a much better option than messing around with this lump of scrap

Yes sometimes you realise time is too short.

There are other people out there who make their living buying cars like yours and they will fix it in a fraction of the time while you are out enjoying your new ffrr Howard

Thought has crossed my mind to wrap it orange get some 18inch rims with a/t tyres and off road it. Cant be many l322 off roaders? But does seem such a crime to do that to a car with mint bodywork and especially since it drives so well!!!

No not than many of them, but I would NOT use an unreliable L322 to go off road - I would take the most reliable one - which you may get in 2 years' time, as you said.

Here, to keep you motivated, but as the rest of the gang said, sell it for bits and get a clean, working one.

Well, eventually bled it all up and been running about in it still the same, using water and temp gauge going up randomly.

Had enough of it now, any offers?

Woodchip, yes, you and many others have advised me not to touch it but there would have been great pleasure in fixxing this beast simply because so many advised against it.

You win some and you loose some, hopefully i will still make a profit as one sold on ebay tonight needing headgaskets for 3200. If i can get similair money for mine i'll still be happy. (Well, as happy as one can be without an l322 on the drive...)

Can I put in my ha'pennysworth...you've got this far so why not stick with what you've got and sort it.

You could cut your 'losses' and get rid, buy another FF only to find it has 'different' problems and is just as much trouble (if not more) than what you've got now.

Yes, it's frustrating having a FF Range Rover with issues, but think of the sense of satisfaction you'll have when (NOT IF) you have a vehicle that fulfills all the expectations you originally envisaged from buying a 'Range Rover'.

Hang in there mate, for all problems there's a solution, and there's always plenty of help to be had from the magnificent members on this forum. Thumbs Up Thumbs Up
