No not than many of them, but I would NOT use an unreliable L322 to go off road - I would take the most reliable one - which you may get in 2 years' time, as you said. Here, to keep you motivated, but as the rest of the gang said, sell it for bits and get a clean, working one.

Well, eventually bled it all up and been running about in it still the same, using water and temp gauge going up randomly.

Woodchip, yes, you and many others have advised me not to touch it but there would have been great pleasure in fixxing this beast simply because so many advised against it.
