My reply was simply "To scratch an itch." ... End of conversation with nowhere else for it to go with people not interested in these cars.

Before deciding to look at them - on impulse really - there was never an appeal. Before buying one, I was told on Landyzone that ownership becomes 'a way of life'. I underestimated that and didn't realise they actually meant in order keep it on the road


Great cars, addictive, a healthy interest, a wee hobby, escapism etc ... the forum is part of that and without it (and in fairness the dealer) our particular car would have been long gone... But why get rid when it's ageing so well!
