We just had our 2010 FF serviced at a main dealer, it came back with warnings for front & rear brakes, pads & discs, handbrake shoes, dread to think what they would charge for the work.

Took it to our local indie who advised new discs and pads on the rear only. 1 hour labour @£45.00 plus parts at £91.17 plus VAT, a great price I would think...

Check what parts he is fitting, budget brakes are not a terribly good idea on a 2.7t car. Give duckworths or Af factors a go for genuine parts the. Get the indie to fit them.

Probably not a whole heap of difference price wise and you have the proper item on the car. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

He replaced all the brakes on my RR Sport 3 years ago with the same brand and they have been perfect ever since so I have no issues with the quality of the pads..

^^+1, buy the brakes from Ducky Dan and get your indy to fit them...

Make sure he knows what to do with an EPB before he removes rear discs though!!!
