Welcome aboard. Sounds like my motor! I haven't bothered with the RSE, but I don't have kids, so no real need. Seems the I-pad mount is the way to go anyway, that way passengers can watch what they want.

I had the Rosen rear entertainment fitted, my kids love it because they can watch individual movies (separate DVD player in each headrest) and also play arcade games on the move. As they get older no doubt an upgrade to a play station or similar will be requested!

We had windows. It was the glass that was missing. No joke in Scotland.

I have RSE in ours and it's great. Didn't have it in our old Disco 3 and had an iPad on the back of the passenger seat and it was great.

Hello James, small world - we've just bought a 2010 model grey/black L322 (but with a 5.0 S/C rather than a TDV8). They're fantastic cars - you'll love yours. Oh, and before you ask, no it is not finished yet |

Instead of iPad, I would like to suggest the Android based tablets. Cheaper and more versatile IMHO. I am the Windows/Android person in the house and my wife and oldest are Apple. Wife does have a Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom though .

Oh and since I don't have a Nav system in the X-trail and Malaysia/Singapore maps for the FFRR are non-existent (ridiculous), I use my Galaxy Note 10.1 as Nav system as well. Bought Sygic worldwide / lifetime (TomTom maps) and use it as my "offline" Nav system (at night with the HUD feature, very cool !).
