Sure it wasn't, no voltage FROM the height sensor, that would just mean it needs a new sensor, if it's no voltage to, then I would think it would be a broken wire somewhere

Personally neither, I'd get the IID tool it works great.... cheapest is here

Just had a look, it says it uses the dashboard screen does it mean the sat nav or those under the clocks? If it's the clock screen then I have another job to do before I buy it!! Fixing the pixelated screen lol!!! |

Right, just got under it and found a load of insulation tape wrapped around the height sensor wire near the plug, removed it and found 1 wire just hanging there and another bare with solder on it which goes into the plug looks like the hanging wire has come from the solder. I'm guessing this is not the correct way LR had originally done it. Does anyone have a wiring diagram of these plugs please. |

Pixel fix ribbon is the hard one apparently... it's a nightmare getting the binnacle apart, especially getting the needles off without breaking them....
