Adaptive light module

Hi guys

I think my AFS module has failed - no dash warning lights but no "dance" on startup and no cornering.

The module is listed as YWC500322.

Have found a module that is YWC500320 and also another at YWC500323.

Are these the same? Just differnet numbers for different suppliers?

Cheers

Do you know for sure that you have the adaptive lights on your vehicle.

I have the additional ballasts and side bulbs in my lights and I get a yellow warning light for the adaptive lights when I first turn the key but never seen any evidence that they actually come on (some signs of surround melting from previous owner). Also never seen the "dance" on start up but no faults related to lights There is a difference between knowing your sh!t and knowing you're sh!t

Hi

It is a 2005 4.2 supercharged so I thought they were standard?

I do not have a warning light on the dash - the xenons cornering just don't work and don't dance!

Yes that's right.

The previous owner said they used to corner but stopped about a year ago

sounds like you need to get some diagnostics done on it..might be worth investing in an iidtool which will allow you to get the codes and do loads of other stuff as well.. ... - .- -.

I wondered if it was just the AFS module needs replacing.

It does not come as a fault on the dash - I disconnected and it still did not register a fault.

Have there been cases where the AFS module has failed but does not give a fault code.

Exactly the same as mine. Given up as they work as normal lights and no ideas on how to fix or even confirm tha they are wired up and not just replacement lghts from another FF There is a difference between knowing your sh!t and knowing you're sh!t
