For info, the 2 senders and pump for the TDV8 come as one unit, which has now arrived, but am going to leave it to LR to change it during the service next week, as i loathe having to get the diesel smell of arms etc, which i seem to spend my life doing when FLT and digger break down.....

My SC ran out on the M8 yesterday. The light came on about a minute before it ran out whilst it was showing 49 miles left in the tank.

Have you tried a battery reset out of interest? The gauge takes average readings all the time and if one component has a "funny five" it can screw things up for weeks! Try a battery reset first |
