2011 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 V8 Ipanema Sand

2011 FF. do these have water ingress issues?

my 2007 FF had a plastic sheet covering the electronic modules in the boot are as a precaution against the dreaded water ingress issue. although it never afflicted the car.
i now have a 2011MY FF, do these cars have the same water ingress issues? worth getting a plastic sheet in the area?

I thought all 2007 ish onwards models had "water shedders" fitted...

Have they been deleted on later models then?

You mean you don't have a water ingress issue ?

Thought the same seals etc were used across the life of the L322. Could be wrong.

I'd move it over or get another just in case. 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8

2011 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV8 Santorini Black

Used to get water in the spare wheel well, took 4 visits to the dealer to fix. Turned out to be the seam above the rear pillars.

The water appeared to run down to the rear so did not get into the electrics.

To be fair, mine has not had a water ingress issue - touch wood.

I have fitted the water shedder just in case though.

That is the official Land Rover description for the plastic bag it provides as a precaution.

It's what it said on my invoice from the dealer.....
