not wanting to be flippant, but go sit in an X5 then go and sit in a proper Range Rover, it isn't even worth trying to compare the two. The X5 was developed by BMW to sit below the RR in spec and performance, at the time BMW owned Land Rover and there was no point duplicating the mark.

oh yes, and for the Pilot of the FFRR, doesn't that feel just so absolutely glorious full throttle with the afterburners on leaving a BM in a double plume of spent fuel |
