Just been reading the handbook ( beats watching tennis) and it says that you have to take the steps off to change a wheel , is that right

Looking at the fitting instructions you get an Allen Key with clips to secure it in the rear side pocket. I'm guessing this Allen Key is for removing the side steps before jacking up, if so removal would be a quick and easy job assuming it is just the actual step that's removed leaving everything else in place.

Aha, found an allen key in the boot whilst filling up the wheel well with all my crap and wondered what it was for as there is no mention of it in the handbook.

Just had a look and found the instruction book for the steps, looks like 4 x Allen screws per step, so should be easy enough to take off if the need arrises
