The deployable steps for a 2012 Westminster is priced at £1908 all in according to Landrover's price list. Any idea of how much a dealer would charge for fitting and hours needed for them to fit?

With 15% off and £50 off labour with Landrover's Allegiance scheme this could be my next buy.

Sorry for my ignorance but I have never seen those before on a car and hence do not know how they are working.
How are they deployed? Do they come out when you unlock the car? Or are they only deployed to get out of the car?

I guess there is no way these would work on a 2004/5 with touchscreen? Tom

They deploy both sides when you unlock the car, or if the car is already unlocked then they deploy on which ever side a door is opened (front or rear).

Yep got it now.

Forgot to mention that there is also a switch in the roof consol that you can press to deploy the steps or alternatively press and hold to lock the steps in the up position or deployed position
