I've had similar when I had a motorcycle serviced. My 'dangerously low' pads were not even half worn. They also damaged the bike with a sliding door. Tw@s.

Having said that when I bought my vx220 it came with an mot advisory that the pads were low. Fortunately I changed them before driving it.

Hi

Don't know if the Brembo calipers are alloy, but if they are then you shouldn't use copperslip on them, it creates electrolysis and will corrode the calipers, fine for use on cast Iron ones though.... Pete

Wales 2006 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 V8 Bonatti Grey

@MZPLG - worn brake pads seem to be a favourite money making scam. Twisted Evil

4 years ago I bought a TD5 110 defender. Went for its first MOT 12 months later, and got an advisory for front brake pad wear - so ordered a new set from Craddocks, but when I went to fit them, I found the originals were not even half worn. Twisted Evil

Continued driving on the originals, through 2 more MOT's and 65.000 miles, without getting another advisory.
